Junior Production Specialist (Graduate) – In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Division
The Company:
Agrolabo (www.agrolabo.it) is a leading company in the biotechnology and veterinary medical devices sector, focused on the production and marketing of innovative diagnostic solutions. We are seeking a motivated, proactive professional with a strong focus on results and determination to join the Diagnostic Reagent Production team.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be trained and involved in all phases of the production cycle, in compliance with quality protocols (ISO 13485/cGMP) and internal SOPs, in order to gain experience for future management of the various production lines. Key responsibilities include:
- Batch Execution: Preparation, setup, and production of batches of diagnostic reagents (e.g., antibodies, antigens, ELISA, immunochromatographic, microbiological, and immunofluorescence kits) strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
- Raw Materials Management: Preparation of solutions, swabs, and media, and inventory management of biological and chemical raw materials, as well as supplier relationships.
- Process Control: Monitoring critical production parameters and accurately recording all batch data.
- Maintenance and Calibration: Perform cleaning, testing, and calibration of laboratory equipment (e.g., pipettors, filtration systems, spectrophotometers, automated production equipment).
- Quality and Documentation: Collaborate with the QA/QC Department.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with current IVD regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Required Profile
Education and Skills:
- Master's Degree in: Biology or Biotechnology.
- Maximum Age: 29 years
- Laboratory Skills: Solid knowledge and proven practical experience in basic biochemical and molecular laboratory techniques (e.g., preparation of solutions at specific concentrations, pipetting, sterile filtration, centrifugation, immunoenzymatic techniques, etc.).• Quality Knowledge: Basic understanding of regulations governing IVD/Medical Device production (ISO 13485 and/or GMP). Experience in a regulated environment is a plus.
- Language and IT Skills: Italian native language level, Good knowledge of English (technical and scientific). Excellent command of Microsoft Office.
- Soft Skills: Precision, meticulousness, dedication and commitment, strong work ethic, strong motivation, strong attention to detail and procedures, ability to work in a team, manage intense workloads with defined deadlines, and people management skills.
